Kim began her legal journey at Cardiff University, going on to qualify with a local firm in 2005. After working there until 2013, she teamed up with another local firm before establishing her own practice.
Kim has represented clients in courts at all levels across England and Wales, including the High Court and Court of Appeal. Beyond family law, her background in general litigation gives her valuable insights for her cases.
From the very start, Kim has found great satisfaction in guiding family law clients through difficult times, helping them reach a place of confidence and renewed happiness.
Among her proudest moments has been successfully securing a Hague Convention order from the Royal Courts of Justice for the return of a two-year-old to his mother in the USA after wrongful retention in the UK by his father.
In her spare time, when she’s not building Lego with her little boy, Kim enjoys a bit of retail therapy.
Something you didn’t know about Kim: she used to own and ride a very spirited thoroughbred horse!

Andrea is a specialist in finances and private law for children. She brings over 30 years of focused experience in family law, gained while working in Bath, Swindon, and the Cotswolds. Her background also includes involvement in farming and horse-related cases.
Andrea finds family law a fascinating and constantly evolving area, where every case is unique. She considers it a privilege to work with clients and assist them through an emotional and difficult period in their lives, witnessing them emerge and look towards the future.
Andrea’s expertise lies in areas such as divorce, financial disputes following family breakdown, separation, cohabitation disagreements, and private law matters concerning children.
In her spare time, Andrea loves being in the countryside with her very energetic working cocker spaniel, and enjoying watching (cheering on) her husband and sons in sporting events. She loves everything to do with farming and horses, and in a previous life, qualified as a British Horse Society Instructor (BHSII), rode in advanced dressage, and was selected to represent Britain at an international friendly.

Maxine is a Chartered Legal Executive with over 30 years’ experience in family law, and before joining KT Family Solicitors she headed the family team at a Wiltshire firm.
Maxine’s early career was in other areas of law, but she soon found a passion for family law, and so specialised. While acknowledging its challenges, she appreciates the opportunity to meet and assist clients through often difficult life events, considering it a privilege.
Maxine handles all aspects of private family law, including resolving disputes concerning children and advising on financial matters arising from family breakdown. She also regularly advises on cohabitation disputes, separation agreements, and domestic abuse issues, including injunction proceedings and the impact on children.
When a case concludes and a client has come through a difficult time, Maxine loves to hear their elation and to share that moment with them.
In her spare time, when she’s not busy working on home renovations, she enjoys travelling with her husband and daughters, and likes nothing more than sipping a pina colada in the sunshine.

Kate joined the practice in 2018 and quickly qualified as a paralegal. She pursued the path to becoming a Chartered Legal Executive, achieving qualification in 2024. She now handles all areas of family law.
Kate loves that no two days are the same. She has a number of career highlights, including successfully preparing a case which led to her client obtaining an order for a child to be returned to the mother’s care, after she’d been retained by the father.
In her spare time, Kate likes planning new adventures with her fiancé and dog, Barney, and has even slept in a hammock in the Cambodian jungle! She loves the English countryside, particularly walking in Wiltshire.

Sophia has been with our team for three years as a Paralegal and is now undertaking her training to become a lawyer.
Passionate about family law, Sophia prides herself on providing an excellent and empathetic service to our clients and receives many positive comments from them.
In her spare time, Sophia enjoys browsing antique shops and taking craft workshops, and when she’s not doing that, she is often found playing badminton with her family.
She loves living in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, but is also a fan of the beach and once went paragliding in Tunisia.

Diane is a Legal Secretary and has supported our practice from the outset. She has worked in the legal profession as a Legal Secretary for nearly 40 years, mainly in family law, civil litigation and criminal/regulatory law, and prides herself on being professional and approachable. She particularly loves helping people at what is often a life changing stage in their lives.

In her spare time, Diane loves going out and about with her dogs, especially to scenic coastal and forest locations. She also likes a project, and is planning to restore two rocking horses – when she has the time!

Laura is a Legal Secretary, and is also a qualified Chartered Legal Executive, bringing a wealth of experience to her role.
Law has always been a passion, and after specialising in conveyancing for a number of years, Laura wanted a new challenge, so moved into family law. She loves the variety this offers, and prides herself on being a friendly voice on the end of the phone when clients call.
When she’s not running around after her two sons, in her spare time she enjoys walking her spaniel, cinema-going and eating out with friends. Ever intrepid, Laura once did a skydive in aid of a cancer charity.
